Merit Travel Harnesses the Power of Online Booking
SoftVoyage Now Fully Qualified on Amadeus GDS System


TORONTO, October 20, 2003 -- One of Canada's fastest-growing specialty travel companies has chosen SoftVoyage to power its foray into online booking.

Merit Travel purchased the MRUN system from SoftVoyage, a comprehensive search-and-book engine that searches three distinct databases to find best available airfares. The engine searches literally millions of airfares in a matter of seconds, including BSP fares on GDS, charter fares from tour operators and consolidator airfares.

Merit is the largest Canadian agency using the Amadeus GDS system, and this project marks the first time SoftVoyage has had to integrate its product with Amadeus. The company is now fully-qualified to take on other Amadeus clients in Canada and around the world.
