Monarc.ca published its first ranking of hotels.

The Canadian "Hotel Review Site" www.monarc.ca recently published its first ranking of the most popular sun destination hotels as rated by Canadian travelers.

For the first time, a hotel ranking based exclusively on Canadian travelers reviews and ratings from all provinces in Canada is available to the public. In fact, over 20,000 reviews by Canadian travelers were consolidated to create this first of many hotel ranking reports

What sets www.monarc.ca apart from any other hotel review site is that Monarc.ca represents Canadian travelers reviews and ratings only. When Canadian travelers research hotels before making travel arrangements, they can be sure that Canadian views and criteria are taken into account resulting in more pertinent information.

This first Monarc.ca hotel ranking report is based on specific criteria such as: overall value, quality of food, beach, family holiday, couples only holiday and more... Reports are continuously updated with new information received on a daily basis

Observations

• Leading and top quality hotels receive favorable reviews and ratings from Canadian travelers regardless of which part of the country they come from
• Lower ranked hotels receive less positive reviews from travelers from all provinces
• Mexico, in particular The Mayan Riviera has a hotel ranked Top Five in each category of the spring 2010 ranking report
