WestJet Fares Take Off With Softvoyage
Agents Earn Full 9% Commission

Toronto - June 24, 2004 -- Fares from WestJet, Canada's leading low-fare airline, are now available to a wider audience of consumers and travel agents thanks to Softvoyage technology.

Now, Softvoyage SAX customers are able to sell WestJet fares to the consumer directly from the shopping and booking engine of their website. As well, agencies can book WestJet fares through SIREV, Canada's leading business-to-business search and booking tool created and powered by Softvoyage.

In both cases, agents earn full 9% commission, the same commission paid to agents who book directly on www.westjet.com.

"This is a win-win situation for WestJet and the travel agency community," says Dan Langevin, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for Softvoyage. "WestJet reaches a broader audience and helps control its distribution costs while agents are able to offer a highly popular product to Canadian travelers while still earning maximum commission."

"We are always looking for ways to make it easier for consumers and our travel agent partners to book with us," says Duncan Bureau, WestJet's Director of Sales and Business Development. "An increasing number of agents are using SIREV as a booking platform and the Softvoyage SAX technology has strong penetration in the online business-to-consumer market. The low cost of distribution enables us to offer our excellent fares to the Canadian public."

WestJet serves the 24 Canadian cities of Victoria, Comox, Vancouver, Abbotsford/Fraser Valley, Prince George, Kelowna, Grande Prairie, Calgary, Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Thunder Bay, Windsor, London, Hamilton, Toronto, Ottawa, Montréal, Moncton, Halifax, Gander and St. John's. The airline operates a growing fleet of 50 aircraft featuring 32 new Next-Generation Boeing 737-700 aircraft. Transborder service will commence in fall 2004 to the cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa Bay, Orlando, and New York.
